• Who an MDO is and their role
• What delegated engineer (DE) and supervising civil engineer (SCE) are, including their criteria
• What Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is and how to complete it in the correct format with
• examples
• The development action plan (DAP), why it is needed and the correct format
• The Initial Professional Development (IPD), the difference between attribute 7 (SustainableDevelopment) and attribute 9 (Professional Commitment), the different formats of recording
• The ICE appraisal process and what happens at one and what to prepare for
