The Tarmac Concrete batching plant serves the London area with vast quantities of differing concrete mix designs, utilizing the latest technologies and innovations to serve its customers. With advances in sustainability and quality control at the forefront, this opportunity for an impressive plant visit will be one not to miss!
ICE Member attendees will gain first-hand experience in concrete production, exploring plant operations, discussing concrete technology, and participating in a CPD session focused on CEVO, Tarmac’s low-carbon concrete solutions. The visit will allow attendees to further understand ready-mixed concrete production, quality-control processes, and advances in sustainable concrete options.
This will be a fantastic CPD and networking event where the customer can meet the client who can demonstrate professional practices.
All attendees will require the following Full PPE for the visit:
- Full PPE
- Hard Hat
- Safety Glasses
- Long sleeved Orange Hi-vis top or jacket
- Full-length orange hi-vis trousers
- Gloves
- Safety Boots
Parking is available on site but is limited so public transport is preferred.
After the event has finished, there is a nice bar 5/10 min walk away near the Thames and Thames Barrier should members like some food/drink.
