Construction industry have made great progress in reducing the harm caused to people, property and environment in the development, delivery and operation of infrastructure.

Eliminating harm completely is beyond our reach, unless we change the thinking and processes in practice.

The lecture will explore Safety & Welfare and the mindset change needed in industry.

Brett is a chartered engineer and safety practitioner with over 30 years of experience in construction. Brett has managed highly complex developments & approaches to risk management working for major consulting engineering organization around the world.

He represented the Australian construction Industry on the Board of Ethics, Australian Institute of Safety and Health and provided safety oversight to the Infection Control Committee of Australian Institute Refrigeration, Air-conditioning and Heating (AIRAH).
