If you’re a professionally qualified member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES), you may be able to become an ICE member (MICE) without doing a Professional Review.
Can I apply?
To apply for MICE using your CICES membership, you must have:
If you don't have the right educational base, we'll need to assess the level of technical knowledge you've gained from your professional experience. This needs to be done before you can apply. If you'd like further details, please email us at email@example.com.
What else do I have to do?
You also need to show us, in writing, that you have the level of professional knowledge and experience needed for the MICE grade. This is measured against a set of ‘attributes’. We may also ask you to come to an interview if your written evidence isn’t enough.
To become a member (MICE), your application must be supported by three professionally qualified engineers, who are registered with the Engineering Council at the same grade or higher. At least one must be an ICE member.
If you use this application, rather than going through the Professional Review, you may not be able to use your ICE membership to register with other engineering institutions. If you want to use your ICE membership for registration outside the UK or with another institution, please contact us for advice at firstname.lastname@example.org.
