Gain project recognition - 2018 ICE Merit Awards open for entries

The Awards celebrate excellence in civil engineering projects and the teams behind them in the East of England.

Every year the ICE Merit Awards highlights civil engineering projects helping to raise the profession's public profile and providing recoginition for the people behind them.

To qualifty for entry projects must have been completed between 1 January 2017 and the competition closing date 27 April 2018. There are four categories:

  • Physical Achievement
  • Technical Excellence and Innovation
  • Sustainability
  • Team Achievement

Each entry is visited by a panel of judges who can make an award ranging from Merit to Exceptional Merit. The aim of the Awards is to recognise and encourage excellence within the profession, promote project values, encourage team working to overcome difficulties whilst delivering benefits for people, the environment and future generations.

The winners will be announced at the Merit Awards Evening to be held at Girton College, Cambridge on 27 June.
