International humanitarian and support charity RedR UK is asking civil engineers to take part in a number of its fundraising events: a bike ride in India, a three peaks hike in Yorkshire or a run through London parks.
Participants will need to raise minimum amounts - with all funds going to support the charity's projects worldwide.
RedR UK was founded by civil engineer Peter Guthrie at an ICE symposium in 1980 and provides training and technical support to NGOs, aid workers and communities responding to natural and man-made disasters all over the world. RedR UK is one of our ICE 200 People and Projects.
Join the RedR UK team cycling for 5 days through the state of Rajasthan - known for its characteristic old forts, painted houses and maharajah's palaces. Highlights on this trip include the pink city of Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park, and the old abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. The end of challenge celebration is a trip to the Taj Mahal and a visit from RedR India.
