The annual ICE and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) carol service took place on Monday evening (10 December) in St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey

Around 400 people, including staff and members of ICE and other engineering institutions, joined in the pre-Christmas celebration in London.

This year’s service was particularly special, as it was also an opportunity to celebrate ICE 200 and the 150th anniversary of RICS.

The choir was made up of staff from engineering institutions, including ICE, RICS, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) and the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).

After the service, the festivities continued with mulled wine and mince pies at ICE's headquarters, One Great George Street.
