The ICE HKA G&S Thailand delegation 2019 was held from 13 to 17 November 2019 in Pattaya and Bangkok, Thailand. This year's theme was the ‘Transformation towards a competitive, intelligent and sustainable country’.
Nineteen graduate and student members of ICE HKA G&S joined the delegation and three students were awarded the Student Prize for the delegation.
The graduate and student members of ICE HKA examined city planning for the betterment of citizens' lives and the infrastructure construction challenges through their visits and seminars in Thailand.
Each delegate wrote a study report sharing their learnings from technical seminars and site visits. In addition, each student prize winner recorded a 10-minute video clip to introduce what they had learned from the Thailand delegation and to promote future delegation events.

As well as encouraging students to explore the civil engineering industries both within and outside Hong Kong during their university life, the Student Prize Award was organised to promote ICE HKA G&S delegations among students and provide financial sponsorship to student prize winners.
Three students were awarded the prize.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the dissemination seminar was cancelled. The presentation was consequently changed to an online format with each winner recording a 10-minute video clip.
