The ICE London Awards has opened for entries and in 2021 is shining a spotlight on ICE members and engineering teams working together to make a difference to society and to their working environments.
Over the last 10 years, the event has grown into the most recognisable accolades celebrating civil engineering in the capital. To continue its recognition of excellence, three new categories have been introduced to the 2021 Awards:
Fairness, Inclusion, and Respect Champion - Engage, connect and inspire colleagues within the engineering industry to make positive change which ensures all colleagues are treated with fairness and respect.
Volunteer of the Year - to recognise and reward the ICE member who has made an outstanding contribution to the ICE through volunteering. This could be on an ICE Committee or panel, as a supervising civil engineer, delegated engineer, or mentor, reviewer or assessor among other voluntary contributions.
Leading with Impact Award - Awarded to a senior manager and/or director for vision and strategic thinking that has made a difference within their organisation and had an impact on the engineering industry.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, ICE London has made the decision to postpone the Project award categories in 2021, but hopes to resume these in 2022.
