ICE Scotland museum to open doors to the general public

ICE Scotland's museum is to develop a cultural trail all about civil engineering in Scotland.

Following a guided tour of the ICE Scotland civil engineering museum, based at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, the Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Richard Williams, indicated his desire to make the museum more accessible to the public through the provision of cultural trails on the Edinburgh Campus.

Professor Williams was shown around the museum by ICE members David McGuigan, John Andrew and Professor Roland Paxton, all members of the museum committee, and he said he was impressed with the collection.
