The magazine aims to highlight the many activities which have taken place over the last 12 months. Read it to find out what's been happening in the regional branches, Graduates & Students group, Seniors group and news from your regional director, Molly McKenzie and 2015-16 Chair, Mark Downes.
360 reports on major annual events like Sir John Armitt's visit to the region and our Annual Awards in May. We feature the projects which have signed up to the national 'This is civil engineering' campaign and also the wide variety of education and inspiration activities.
We hope it provides a balanced snapshot of regional activities and celebrates some of the key people who've helped to make them happen this year.
If you haven't managed to come along to any ICE events in 2016 it may inspire you to attend an event to network with others and meet top presenters. Or, you might want to take advantage of the ever growing archive of webinars and on-line events and Friday Lunch and Learns.
We are always seeking ambassadors to help with our pre-19 activities. If you are recently retired, our seniors group welcome new recruits. Our active branches are always keen to see new faces willing to help organise events. We hope the magazine will give you an insight into what ICE can offer you, both regionally and nationally and will encourage you to get more involved.
Lastly, you will see that we moved offices in 2016 and now have 'hot desk's available for members to use in our new canalside base. If you want to use the facilities just call ahead and let us know.
