Teams representing Mott MacDonald in Wales, AECOM in Northern Ireland and TSP in Yorkshire & Humber will compete at the final of this year's Graduate and Student Communications Competition.

After winning the semi-finals, these three teams will go head-to-head in a mock community relations meeting to win the competition on 19 September at ICE's headquarters in London.

The teams will present their proposed improvement or solution to a fictional civil engineering project that affected a local area, to win a range of prizes - £500 for first, £300 for second and £200 for third.

Teams are made up of three to five Student or Graduate ICE Members with no more than seven years industry experience each. The competition has three rounds – regional heats, semi-finals in various locations in the UK and a national final held at ICE's headquarters.
