Last year the ICE Wales Cymru winner was Greg Garson, senior engineer at Arup, who won £200 for his 'Central Square construction sites (Plot 2 and BBC headquarters) viewed from Cardiff Central Train Station platform' entry. The photo shows the development of Cardiff city centre around the central railway station – one of the largest ongoing construction schemes in Wales.

In the under 16s category the winner was Rosie Jones for her photograph, 'No Time to Reflect', which highlights the complex engineering feat of the Megafobia rollercoaster at Oakwoood Park, Pembrokeshire.
