Our work in Scotland
ICE is working closer than ever with Scotland's Parliament
ICE Scotland supports and represents more than 8,000 members working and living in Scotland. The region actively promotes infrastructure and civil engineering issues to Members of the Scottish Parliament.
Since the 2014 referendum, we have pro-actively engaged with the new Scottish Cabinet team and key members of the Shadow Cabinet.
In November 2015, we launched our State of the Nation Scotland: Infrastructure scorecard report. This report examines the state of Scotland's economic infrastructure, and sets out recommendations to policy makers to guide improvements and to future-proof our core assets.
We also work with other engineering organisations to promote the importance of the engineering industry in Scotland and further afield.

ICE Scotland has launched Manifesto for Infrastructure: Scotland 2016 in advance of the Scottish Parliament elections in May. It sets out a vision of what needs to be done to ensure Scotland has transport, energy, waste, water and flooding networks fit for the future and challenges the nation's policy-makers to commit to infrastructure.
