Members, look out for an email from Civica (formerly ERS) on Thursday 7 May.
ICE members are entitled to have their say by voting in ICE’s 2020 Council elections which open on 1 June 2020.
There are 11 vacancies this year for members to join ICE’s Council.
Test email from Civica
The vote will be administered by Civica Election Services (CES), formerly known as Electoral Reform Services (ERS), which will email or post ballot papers to members. CES is an independent body that will scrutinise the votes and ensure the integrity of the ballot.
On Thursday 7 May 2020, CES will send a test email to all members eligible to vote in this year’s elections.
The email will come from the address [email protected]. Members are asked to add this address to their safe senders list.
Ballot papers and further information
Members will receive ballot papers and further information from CES in early June. ICE encourages members to browse through the information and spare a little time to register their vote.
Members will also be asked to vote on a number of changes to the ICE’s By-Laws. The changes are proposed by the Trustee Board and are all in line with the findings of the Presidential Commission.
Members will be asked to vote on resolutions about: the balance of the Trustee Board; the method of appointing and dismissing trustees; and on changes to the rules for attendance and voting at a Special General Meeting.
