This year sees the return of three award categories celebrating contributions toward net zero, digital engineering and the industry.
Entries have opened for this year’s New Civil Engineer Graduate and Apprentice Awards.
Sponsored by the ICE, the awards recognise UK-based civil engineering graduates and apprentices.
There are three main categories: Graduate of the Year, Apprentice of the Year and Degree Apprentice of the Year.
As well as the three main categories, there are also three outstanding contribution awards up for grabs: Carbon Net Zero, Digital Engineering and Outstanding Contribution to the Industry.
The outstanding contribution category winners will be selected from the main category entries. All shortlisted graduates, apprentices, and degree apprentices are eligible for these categories.
As the civil engineering industry moves to adopt digital tools, this year’s awards will be asking candidates to not just share their amazing careers and work experiences so far, but also describe how artificial intelligence could drive change across the industry and supply chain over the next five years.
Candidates may enter more than one award category.
Entry criteria is available on the NCE Graduate and Apprentice Awards website.
The deadline for entries has been extended to midnight Friday 11 August 2023.
- Showcase their achievements externally to the wider industry and its leaders.
- Present their work live to the judging panel as part of the shortlist and live judging process.
- Gain extensive coverage across NCE magazine and social media before and after the event.
- Meet likeminded graduate and apprentices from across the civil engineering community.
