This year sees the return of three award categories celebrating contributions toward net zero, digital engineering and the industry.

Entries have opened for this year’s New Civil Engineer Graduate and Apprentice Awards.

Sponsored by ICE, the awards recognise UK-based civil engineering graduates and apprentices.

There are three main categories: Graduate of the Year, Apprentice of the Year and Degree Apprentice of the Year.

This year also sees the return of three special awards that recognise an outstanding contribution toward net zero, digital engineering and the industry.

Due to past postponements, candidates that have met the qualifying criteria between July 2020 and July 2022 can enter.

Candidates may enter more than one award category.

Entry criteria is available on the NCE Graduate and Apprentice Awards website.

The deadline for entries is 29 July 2022.

Entrants will:

  • Showcase their achievements externally to the wider industry and its leaders.
  • Present their work live to the judging panel as part of the shortlist and live judging process.
  • Gain extensive coverage across NCE magazine and social media before and after the event.
  • Meet likeminded graduate and apprentices from across the civil engineering community.
