After two major consultations with ICE members, the Presidential Commission into ICE Governance has published its Final Report.
Chair of the Commission, Past-President David Orr, said;
‘It is vital for ICE members to have confidence in the governance of our Institution. So it was right that, just over a year ago, the Council and Trustee Board established the Presidential Commission as an advisory body to undertake a comprehensive governance review.
‘During our work, the Commission tried hard to communicate and consult widely within the ICE family. We are extremely grateful to the many members who gave evidence and responded so constructively to our consultations.
‘The Commission hopes that our review and recommendations will help to resolve the differences that arose in 2018, and will allow the Institution to move on and concentrate on its first priority - to foster and promote the art and science of civil engineering.’
