ICE launches resources hub to help inspire future civil engineers
The new hub grants schools and ICE members access to a range of digital and print materials.

The ICE has announced a new resources hub featuring a range of digital and print materials to help promote civil engineering.

The Membership Resources Hub provides a place for teachers, schools, STEM ambassadors, ICE members and employers to order free printed leaflets, download digital information resources and find materials to support ICE educational events.

The ICE seeks to inspire young people towards a career in civil engineering by aiming to increase the numbers undertaking apprenticeships and degree courses.

It also encourages early career professionals to stay in the industry and progress with the ICE.

The Membership Resources Hub aims to make it easier to spread the word about rewarding careers in the industry and demonstrate how civil engineers are shaping our world.

About the Membership Resources Hub

The site includes print and digital versions of:

  • Education & inspiration resources for teachers, parents and civil engineers looking for careers information for young people aged 4-18 years.
  • STEM ambassador resources and planned activities for school and college visits, plus training and essential guidance on how to engage young people successfully with appropriate safeguarding.
  • ICE membership resources that showcase the benefits of membership and professional qualification. Materials cover the full range of ICE membership grades, with items suitable for higher education providers, undergraduates, apprentices, employers and all built environment professionals.

To help reduce waste and aid a sustainable world, the institution recommends using the digital resources first and only order print if required.
