Celebrating the talents of civil engineers and the benefits they bring to communities across the North West.
ICE North West is gearing up to showcase civil engineering at its best as it opens its annual awards for entries.
There are a range of categories available to enter, recognising excellence, innovation in practice and outstanding members:
- Projects - Small (up to £5 million), Medium (£5m to £15million), Large (over £15 million) and Constructability
- All project entries will also be able to compete for the new Mercer Award, supported by Tensar International, driving a focus on innovative engineering solutions at the forefront of the region’s civil engineering profession.
- Team of the Year.
- Diversity Award.
- STEM Volunteer.
- Rising Star – a new award for early career engineers.
Winners will be announced live on the night at a gala ceremony taking place on Thursday 19 May 2022, at the Midland Hotel, Manchester.

How to enter
An expression of interest is requested by 17 December 2021 and the closing date for entries is 28 January 2022.
Tensar International is the main sponsor for the awards, alongside supporting sponsors Temporary Works Forum and Civic Engineers.
