ICE voting rights: Have your say

Council want to know your views on the current voting arrangements for ICE members

ICE voting rights: Have your say

In December 2019, ICE Council raised the question of whether voting rights for Non-Corporate members of the ICE, such as Technicians and Graduates, should be amended. The Trustee Board and Council agreed that any changes to voting rights should first be discussed by the membership before any decisions are reached.

Council will discuss the question at their meeting in April 2020 and Council members are keen to listen to the wider membership in order to inform the debate. The matter of voting rights is somewhat complex and brings with it wider questions about how the Institution engages with all of our members.

A discussion paper is now available on the ICE website which outlines the details and presents a series of questions for ICE members to consider. Members are invited to feedback comment on the options to: [email protected].
