Nominations open for North West annual civil engineering awards

ICE North West is inviting engineering organisations from across the North West, including the Isle of Man, to showcase their work as part of the region’s annual civil engineering awards.

Emma Antrobus, Director ICE North West, said: "Our awards recognise the projects and people behind the delivery of the very best in civil engineering across the North West region.

“The contribution that civil engineers make in terms of improving people’s everyday lives is enormous. So, tell us your stories, send us your entries and let’s celebrate the achievements together.”

There are a range of award categories to enter:

  • Large Project Award - over £15 million
  • Medium Project Award - between £5 million and £15 million
  • Small Project Award - under £5 million
  • Community Award
  • Constructability Award
  • Diversity Award
  • Mentor Award
  • STEM Volunteer Award
  • Heritage Award

Winners will be announced live at a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on 26 March 2020 at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly.

The closing date for entries is Monday 20 January 2020.
