Open Doors 2020 - Get involved

03 February 2020

Open Doors week offers unique opportunities for the public to go behind the scenes of the construction industry – connecting communities with the industry that shapes their lives and the diverse range of career paths it offers. Find out how you can get involved.

Open Doors 2020 - Get involved

Now is your chance to enter your construction site into Open Doors 2020.

As a member of Build UK, ICE is supporting Open Doors – 16-21 March – which aims to encourage more people to take up careers in construction and to change the perception of the construction industry.

This special week is a great opportunity to showcase the varied careers on offer in engineering and construction.

Last year there were over 290 sites that were open and visited by 6000 people, including 11-18-year olds, parents, teachers, career changers and interested members of the public.

You can be a part of this by organising a site visit on one of your projects if your organisation is also a member of Build UK – check their list of contractor and client members to find out.

Find out more about how you can host a site visit.
