ICE's submission to the Energy and Climate Change inquiry

Date
19 November 2015

The submission examines:

  • Limitations of today's electricity infrastructure and how these can be addressed
  • What a low carbon network will look like and the challenges facing Government and other bodies
  • How a low carbon network will help minimise consumer bills
  • Key energy technologies
  • How changes to the electricity system impact National Grid and Distribution Network Operators

ICE believes it is important that electricity network is not approached in isolation from the rest of low carbon electricity infrastructure. Energy should be considered in its totality, not simply focusing on electricity.
