Voting is now open for the annual ICE Wales Cymru photo competition.

ICE members and the public have been invited to vote in this year’s ICE Wales Cymru annual photo competition – open until 17.00, Monday 30 October.
The photo competition is hugely popular with the industry and public alike. This year is no exception, with over 70 entries from across Wales.
The competition theme, ‘Capture or celebrate Welsh civil engineering on construction sites or in the built environment of Wales’, saw entries highlighting iconic structures, fascinating projects and artistic views of civil engineering.
The shortlisting has now taken place with the judges, professional photographer, Mark Lewis, ICE Wales Cymru chair, Peter Burns and head judge, Adam Johnson, making the difficult decisions.
Entries were judged on the theme, the composition and artistic merit.
After much deliberation, the shortlist of 13 has been decided upon and its now over to public voting to determine the winner.

The photographic competition is part of the ICE Wales Cymru Awards 2023. It’s sponsored by Mott MacDonald, AECOM and ARUP, with valuable input from Mark Lewis Photography.
The full gallery of entries will be available to view online once the winners have been announced in late November.
