The Infrastructure for London Manifesto recommendations respond to a number of issues London will face over the next few years, including a growing population, predicted to reach 10 million by 2030 and more extreme weather conditions due to climate change.
The recommendations focus on four key areas: Strategy, Resilience, Skills and Delivery. Together, the policies provide a specific and achievable roadmap for the next London Government to ensure London remains one of the greatest cities in the world.
Recommendations include creating a Regional London and South East Forum for politicians to build a consensus over infrastructure issues, focusing transport spending to boost housing growth and the publication of a London Resilience Plan to set out how the city will adapt to climate change up until 2050.
