Celebrating civil engineering

The ICE North West Civil Engineering Awards showcases the collective and individual achievements of civil engineers across the region. Regional Chair, Gareth Scott, and ICE President, Sir John Armitt, announced our 2016 award recipients at our sell-out gala dinner.

Civil engineers, and their projects, were celebrated at the annual ICE North West Civil Engineering Awards Dinner 2016, which saw Regional Chair Gareth Scott and ICE President Sir John Armitt hand out a range of awards.

In addition to established project categories and people categories, the 2016 awards also recognised two further areas of merit in terms of heritage and diversity.
