East of England Best Student Technician 2015

The Best Student Technician Award celebrates exceptional young civil engineers in the East of England who are currently working towards an accredited HND/HNC or Foundation Degree in civil engineering.

The winner of the Award will have a talent in engineering, impressive coursework and a strong examination performance.

The winner of the 2015 Best Student Technician Award is Elizabeth Wells. Elizabeth was nominated by University Campus Suffolk for her consistent high performance in assessments and creative engineering design.

Elizabeth received £250, a certificate and shield at a small ceremony at University Campus Suffolk on 2 December 2015.

Nominations for the Award are received from course leaders or an appropriate staff member through completion of a nomination form. Invitations for nominations will be issued in August/September 2016 and the winner will be informed in October 2016. Find out more about Best Technician Student award.

Students who are studying toward an accredited MEng, BEng, BSc or BSc (Hons) in civil engineering should be nominated for the national ICE Best Student Awards.
