It's an exciting and necessary part of the job for many professional civil engineers who work on projects that cross borders, languages and cultures.

If you've considered, or already got plans for civil engineering related projects abroad in 2016 then you might be able to apply to QUEST for funding.

Kenneth Watson Travel Award

QUEST Kenneth Watson Awards are given to individuals (up to £1,500) or groups of students (up to £4,500) for travel activities involving civil engineering (excluding course placements or conferences).

How to apply

Simply complete the application and referee forms and email them to quest.awards@ice.org.uk before 1 April 2016. Application forms can be found on the Kenneth Watson Travel Award page.
