Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire is largest of the six East of England branches, and represents around 1,800 members, offering a thriving programme of meetings and events for members. These include learned society events which are usually held in St Albans. The branch's main aims include:
- Arranging an annual programme of meetings, seminars, courses and debates
- Arranging visits to works of engineering interest
- Promoting, developing and expanding public perception of civil engineering and civil engineers
- Promoting civil engineering education in local communities, colleges and school
We need new committee members to help keep our ideas fresh and move the branch forward.
