ICE aims to continuously improve health and safety standards and practices, welfare and wellbeing across industry, and requires its members to have a sound knowledge in this area.

On 13 May, for the third consecutive year, the ICE Health and Safety conference will offer a platform for advancing the debate around the current issues the industry, address the importance of culture, leadership and ownership and showcase how health and safety can be dealt with properly.

Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive, high-level, panel discussion, focused on self-regulation of the industry. Sessions will also help you apply the new CDM regulations and understand the value of BIM in health and safety.

Health and safety register

You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the ICE Health and Safety register. Membership of this register enables you to demonstrate your health and safety competences and will help protect your interests, and those of your employer and clients.

The register has two levels of membership to reflect a broader spectrum of competence in the management of health and safety risks. The first level is straightforward to attain and should be achievable by many newly-qualified professionals. The second level is for more experienced people who take the lead in health and safety matters.
