Celebrating our newly qualified members

The James Rennie Medal promotes the achievements of newly qualified chartered civil engineers. The final will feature ICE's top three Chartered Professional Review (CPR) candidates of 2016. They will each present and discuss their CPR report to an audience.

This year's finalists

Our three finalists have been selected from over 1,665 Chartered Professional Review candidates from 2016. The finalists and their reports are:

  • Neil Forsythe CEng MICE, from the Environment Agency, presenting his report on repairs to flood defences for the River Douglas in Lancashire
  • Joseph Maltezos CEng MICE, from Laing O'Rourke, presenting his report on C422 Crossrail Tottenham Court Road
  • Dominic Wright CEng MICE MCIHT, from Bechtel Corporation, presenting his report on the Kosovo Route 6 Motorway

The best candidate will receive the illustrious 2017 James Rennie Medal and £1,000 in recognition of their achievements.
