In the first Breakfast Briefing of the year, Transport Commissioner Mike Brown spoke to London and South East Fellows about TfL's goals and objectives over the coming few years.

The group discussed the need to continue investing in London's transportation and of the various upgrades that TfL are making to the network, from Crossrail 1 & 2 to the cycle superhighway.

With more people using public transport than ever before, and with a rising population, the issue of increasing urbanisation was discussed, particularly how London can use transport investments to end the housing shortage.

Pinsent Masons

The event, which was sponsored by Pinsent Masons, gave Fellows the chance to ask the Commissioner about his plans for the future. Representatives from BAM Nuttall, AECOM, KPMG and Arup were present.
