QUEST Eloise Plunkett Award winner announced

The QUEST Eloise Plunkett Award is awarded to a female ICE member who qualified as a Member (MICE) or Technician (TMICE) through a UK-based Professional Review in 2015 and provides financial support to travel outside the UK to undertake a project or activity which has a civil engineering focus.

2016 winner announced

The winner of this year's prestigious award is Jane Hancock.

Over a five month period Jane intends to travel to Nepal during which she will be volunteering for a charity to support the 2015 earthquake response and long term rebuild; working on and managing civil engineering projects to rebuild schools and provide essential amenities to affected communities.

Through this she hopes to gain a wider understanding of the different approaches to Civil Engineering taken globally, provide practical help and advice, promote civil engineering and ICE, and build greater personal resilience and leadership skills.
