We’re getting ready for Tomorrow’s Engineers Week – want to join us?

Next month our local teams and members will be showcasing civil engineering across the UK in schools and colleges as part of Tomorrow’s Engineer’s Week (2-6 November).

Tomorrow's Engineers (TE) is a partnership between ICE, Engineering UK, the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and the Institute of Physics. Together we have been developing a programme of careers resources that provide clear, consistent guidance for young people aged 9-16 and their teachers.

What you can do

If you are an employer or engineer we want you to tell young people about your amazing job. If you're a school, college, university or parent, we want you to help young people to uncover their future in engineering.

The TE group needs employers, organisations and educators across the country to join forces to host engaging activities that showcase real engineers and real engineering. We want to bring the industry alive for young people.

You could help by doing:

  • A hands-on activity
  • An interactive discussion
  • A live online Q&A
  • Or something completely different!

Register your event now or download the toolkit for support.

We'd love to hear from you, whether you've got a great idea for an activity, you'd like to run a challenge in a local school or you could help us spread the word on social media, by making a video or writing something for our newsletters even!
