Yorkshire and Humber Project Awards Open

Entry is now open for the ICE Yorkshire and Humber Annual Civil Engineering Project Awards 2017 - the showcase for civil engineering excellence in the region.

Awards are made for civil engineering projects in recognition of achievement, excellence or innovation in civil engineering. Nominated projects will normally be expected to have been completed or substantially completed not more than two years before the closing date for nominations.

There's a range of categories available to suit a range of projects and people. The categories are:

  • Centenary Award - projects £5m and over
  • Smeaton Award - projects greater than £500k but less than £5m
  • Sir John Fowler Award – projects or studies less than £500k

To be eligible for submission projects must be constructed in the Yorkshire and Humber region, designed in the region and constructed overseas, or a feasibility study/research project largely undertaken in the region. There is no charge to enter the awards, and you can enter more than one scheme (one entry per form).

The closing date for entries is: Friday 11 November 2016.
