George Beane

George Beane is a consultant in Arup’s International Development team. His current work focuses on building water resilience for cities in the developed and developing world. As a member of Arup’s City Water Resilience Framework (CWRF) George currently works with city partners to grow their capacity to provide consistent high-quality water services and respond to water-related shocks and stresses. An urban planner and urban designer by training, with degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Yale University, George brings extensive professional and academic experience working throughout Latin America, including fieldwork in Mexico, Peru and Ecuador, where he spent two years as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer from 2011-2013.
