Margaret Boshek was destined to be a coastal engineer. Her early talents in math and science married with her love of the ocean to lead her directly to her future career despite being raised in a land locked state. Currently, she has over 14 year of experience in the ocean and coastal engineering field specializing in metocean investigation, coastal structure design, waterfront and marina master planning and design, sediment morphology, and project management. She has worked in three different countries on two continents and her projects, which range from $500 million giga-yacht marinas to village seawalls, span the globe. Margaret enjoys teaching and inspiring the next generation of engineers by guest lecturing at Universities and has become a recognized name at Coastal Engineering’s largest conferences. She is sought out for abilities as well as her dedication to her clients and her ability to build consensus among varied stakeholders. When not dreaming up premier coastal destinations and engineering marvels, Margaret, a private pilot, can be found flying over the US Midwest states surveying her projects on the Great Lakes.
