Er. Seng-Chuan TAN is Managing Director of TEMBUSU Asia Consulting Pte Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Master of Science (Building Science) from the National University of Singapore. He is a Professional Engineer (Civil) and Chartered Engineer (Environment & Water) registered in Singapore; Chartered Professional Engineer registered in Australia; and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer as well as Registered APEC Engineer.
His professional experiences cover environmental, engineering and program/project management in the sectors of Oil & Gas, Water and Wastewater, Energy & Power, Chemical and Petrochemical, Building and Construction, Industrial Plant, Mass Rapid Transit, Climate Change and other infrastructure projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, China, India and Australia.
Er. TAN served as the President of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) from 2006 to 2008; and the President of Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP) from 2007 till 2011. He was elected as Vice President of World Federation of Engineering Organization (WFEO) in 2011 to 2015; Presently he serves as Treasurer and Executive Board member of WFEO; and member of WFEO-UN Relations Committee. He is the Chairman of Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Engineers Coordinating Committee and member of the International Engineering Alliance (IEA) Governing Board.
Er. TAN was conferred to Honorary Fellow of The Institution of Engineers Singapore in 2015, Honorary Fellow of Engineers Australia in 2016, and ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization Honorary Fellow in 2009, he was awarded FEIAP Engineer of the Year Award in 2017.
