QUEST scholarships and awards

QUEST offers scholarships and awards for students and ICE graduate and professionally qualified members.

The Queen’s Jubilee Scholarship Trust (QUEST) was set up in 1977 to support and encourage education in civil engineering.

These well-respected scholarships and awards are associated with excellence, the selection process is competitive and attracts high-calibre applicants. 

QUEST currently provides the following scholarships and awards to civil engineering students:

QUEST Undergraduate Scholarship

Scholarship for undergraduate students studying civil engineering in the UK.

QUEST Technician Scholarship

Scholarship for students in further or higher education studying civil engineering.  

QUEST Kenneth Watson Travel Award

Up to £1,500 for individual students and £4,500 for groups of students travelling overseas to take part in projects and activities

QUEST currently provides the following awards for graduate and professionally qualified ICE members:

QUEST Travel Award

Up to £1,500 to support ICE members’ activities which involve overseas travel.

QUEST Continuing Education Award

Up to £1,500 to support ICE members returning to full or part time education in management or technical subjects.

QUEST Eloise Plunkett Award

£1,500 for one UK-based newly qualified female civil engineer undertaking an activity overseas with a civil engineering focus.

QUEST Worshipful Company of Constructors Award

£2,500 for one ICE member undertaking a project contributing to personal and career development. 

QUEST also runs the following scholarships internationally:

QUEST G Haider Scholarship

Scholarship for civil engineering undergraduates at the UET, Lahore, Pakistan.
