Unable to visit us in person?
We now offer free access to a number of e-books, search engines, as well as a postal loan service.
’Discovery’
is a new library service available to ICE members. It enhances the ICE Library catalogue by allowing members to search the content of some of the library’s journals, as well as a vast range of other journals and publications available to EBSCO, the provider. Through EBSCO, members will be able to gain direct, remote access to more of the Library’s resources.
Searching with EBSCO
EBSCO offers a single search engine to a database that contains material from 70,000 publishers. You may limit your search in a variety of ways, for example, to items in the library catalogue or to publications where the full text is available online.
To send requests to borrow, please continue to use the library web catalogue.
Where to find the service
The Discovery service is located under the heading ‘E-resources’ on the library web catalogue. You will need to log in first using your membership number and your MyICE password to gain access.
EBSCO offer a range of support materials and user guides to the service. If you have any problems, please email us at library@ice.org.uk
