Ground engineering
The engineering behaviour of the ground is fundamental to the way most structures behave. What lies beneath the earth's surface is often the most uncertain element of a construction project. Ground engineers manage this uncertainty through all phases of construction, from project conception and ground investigation, to design, construction and site testing.
