ICE Approved Training Schemes consist of a structured training programme developed in conjunction with the trainee's employer. These schemes set out how employers will provide trainees with the opportunity and support to gain the knowledge and experience required to complete the IPD.
A key element of a scheme is the organisation’s support through a Mentor/Supervising Civil Engineer (SCE) who provides valuable guidance and assistance in developing an individual's training and experience.
