Recognition of EEA and Swiss professional qualifications application form

The EEA and Swiss recognition route will be closing this year following changes to UK legislation, and recognition agreements with authorities in Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands either in place or shortly coming into effect.

The last date for EEA applications will be 19 July 2024. The last date for applications for those who hold Swiss professional qualifications is 31 December 2024. ICE still welcomes interest from colleagues qualified in EEA countries and Switzerland and can offer alternative routes to membership. You can apply for the UK protected titles of CEng MICE, IEng MICE or EngTech MICE if you hold an EEA or Swiss professional qualification in the field of civil engineering.

  • How you’ve achieved the ICE member attributes
  • Sponsor information
  • Details of any criminal convictions
  • Fees payment preference
