All applications for an Experiential Learning assessment must have the support of a mentor. Mentors must understand the requirements of the experiential learning process and the learning outcomes for the level of assessment either as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) i.e. the candidate has applied for.
You should be familiar with the candidates work as the Experiential Learning Mentor Support Form asks you to confirm that the Experiential Learning submission is the candidates own work, that the learning outcome and reflective statements produced by the applicant demonstrate Master’s/Bachelor’s level learning and that they have gained the experience stated in the submission and supporting appendices and in their CV.
Please provide a statement of support of no more than 500 words describing from personal knowledge that the candidate possesses the appropriate experience and knowledge to meet the Experiential Learning requirements.
