Jack Harvey is a senior project engineer for Network Rail and DPE for the Greek Street reconstruction.
At this hybrid event, our speakers will share an overview of the recently completed project to reconstruct Greek Street overbridge in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
The scheme comprised of the reconstruction of a 60m long and 25m wide overline bridge which spanned across five lines of track including the West Coast Main Line, in a town centre location. The bridge also lies just up track from Stockport station, a major transport hub in the area.
The presentation will give a background into the scheme from the perspective of the client, designer and delivery/contractors, and give insight into the stakeholder management, design process and construction methodology of the project. It will also discuss the challenges faced during the project and how these were overcome to deliver a successful scheme.
This event is organised by ICE Manchester branch and the Railway Civil Engineers' Association (RCEA).
