Please note that this seminar will be held on 20 March 2026 from 18:30 registration for 19:00 – 20:30 HK time.

This seminar offers an in‑depth look into the evolving landscape of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) through the expertise of two distinguished industry professionals.

Ar. Sita Wu will share her extensive experience across diverse building types and her long-term involvement in the development, application and problem‑solving processes unique to MiC projects. Her talk will highlight how MiC has transformed project strategies, design coordination and construction methodologies from multiple professional perspectives.

Ir. William Wong will present practical insights from his leadership in delivering completed MiC residential and institutional projects. Drawing on his background as a Registered Structural Engineer and Authorized Signatory, he will discuss the technical, managerial and on‑site considerations that shape successful MiC implementation, including his work on student dormitories, elderly housing and public housing developments.

Together, these talks will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of MiC’s opportunities, challenges and real‑world applications. The seminar will include presentations followed by discussion, offering attendees valuable knowledge from two practitioners at the forefront of MiC development and delivery.

The spectrum of project types includes housing, crematorium, radar stations, education compound, exhibition and conventions, comprehensive development, logistics centre, theme park, sports academy, hospital and labs, community complex, department headquarters, hotel, interiors, boundary crossing facilities, malls, recreation parks, architectural conservation.

Ar. Sita Wu has witnessed the evolution of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) and hands-on experience in resolving aspects specific to such construction from different stands and perspectives.

Ir. William Wong is the assistant general manager at Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited. He is a Registered Structural Engineer (RSE) and an Authorized Signatory (AS) for a Registered General Building Contractor. With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, he has been actively involved in a wide range of projects, particularly in building construction—including residential, commercial, institutional, hotel and government developments.

In recent years, Ir. Wong has taken a leading role in the design and construction of various Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) projects. He has successfully delivered different MiC residential buildings for diverse purposes, such as student dormitories, elderly housing, and public housing developments.
