Overview

We are holding an informal discussion and social event for Technicians from all backgrounds and specialities, to get to know each other and to continue to build a dedicated community for Technicians at the ICE.

This event will provide opportunities to learn more about what it means to be a professional Technician.  We will explore how we support the next generation in their Technician professional review or end point assessments for civil engineering college apprenticeships.

This event is open to all who have already achieved, or are interested in achieving, professional recognition at EngTech MICE. If you know someone that would benefit from this event, or you are managing a team of Technicians, please encourage them to attend, or even better bring them along.

A Panel of Technicians currently working in industry will discuss their routes into work, and their career paths as they build their careers in the civil engineering industry.

The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is a professional body that supports and represents Civil Engineers, Technicians and Infrastructure Engineers. In this event we are specifically calling all Civil Engineering Technicians together and seeking to meet those working in the civil engineering and infrastructure.

This event will include food/snacks and soft drinks, there will be plenty of opportunities for refreshment and networking.
