Overview

ICE Scotland is hosting a hustings in collaboration with the Institute of Directors. The event will provide an opportunity to see how the next government will approach policy and infrastructure.

We will be joined by candidates from each major Scottish party, including:

  • Ivan McKee, Scottish National Party (SNP)
  • Daniel Johnson, Scottish Labour
  • Lorna Slater, Scottish Greens
  • Liam McArthur, Scottish Liberal Democrats
  • Lord Malcom Offord, Reform
  • Sue Webber, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party

As part of the event, we will highlight the key themes from ICE Scotland's election prospectus, Built to Last: Building a resilient and sustainable Scotland, setting out the infrastructure priorities we believe are essential for Scotland's long-term resilience and prosperity.

This hustings offers an important opportunity to hear directly from political figures about their priorities for Scotland’s economy, infrastructure, skills, and the wider built environment, and to engage in constructive discussion ahead of the upcoming election period.
