Overview
Key highlights for this technical visit include:
Learn about the planning vision, development framework and implementation of the Hung Shui Kiu / Ha Tsuen New Development Area (HSK/HT NDA), a major strategic growth area supporting the Northern Metropolis.
Gain insights into the planning, engineering and infrastructure challenges associated with large‑scale new development, including site formation, transport infrastructure, drainage, utilities, and sustainability initiatives.
Understand the function of the Community Liaison Centre (CLC) as a platform for public engagement, community communication and dissemination of project information.
Explore a purpose‑designed two‑storey Community Liaison Centre constructed using modular steel MiC units and DfMA principles, capable of hosting exhibitions and public activities.
- Capacity: Maximum of 30 participants with priority given to ICE Members at all grades
- Dress code: Long trousers and full PPE (helmet with chin strap, reflective vest, safety boots)
- Required certificates: Valid Green Card
- Registration deadline: 01 May 2026 (Friday)
Notes
- Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis, with priority given to ICE Members.
- Only successful applicants will be notified.
- The event will be conducted primarily in Cantonese and English terms will be introduced where appropriate.
- Attendance certificates will be provided within two weeks of the event only if attendees participate for the entire duration of the event.
- Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future ICEHKA events.
